3788 Scale Frax Police Corvette (POL) MGL

The Frax are a simulator empire used to train officers of the Klingon Deep Space Fleet to handle unexpected enemies. Based on old wet-navy concepts, the weapons are disposed in turrets with Forward eXpanded and Rear eXpanded firing arcs (hence the name “Frax”).

All empires had some kind of small frigate for use by the police in their normal patrols. While police did fight pirates and the occasional raider, their primary target was ships that did not pay their import/export taxes. Police corvettes were not just small frigates, but were designed for constant operations without excessive maintenance, which imposed design restrictions. When the Klingons created the fictional Frax empire for combat training, they provided the Frax with a full range of ships including this police corvette.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
