285 Scale Hydran Stinger-2 Fighter CVN

The Hydrans are an unusual species that live on the far side of the Klingon Empire, along the edge of the galaxy. They are enemies of the Klingons and Lyrans, and were conquered by those empires at one point, only to drive the invaders out decades later. Hydrans breathe methane and live on cold type-S gas giants on silicate continents floating on liquid methane oceans.

Stinger fighters are the primary weapon of the Hydran fleet, part of a design philosophy that uses fighters (cheap and fast to build) to absorb damage rather than having the ships of their small fleet shot up. Stingers are deadly at close range, with a Gatling phaser and two fusion beams. Three Stingers can, if they reach point-blank range, wreck a cruiser. Enemies know not to let that happen.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
