Even the producers of "Star Trek: Discovery" realized at some point that they messed it up with their excessive redesign of almost all visual elements in the DSC-Universe. Due to the loud outcry of the fans they felt it would be a good idea to go back a little. For this they changed the look of the Klingons more toward how they looked in TNG, DS9, VOY and ENT (They still can't be of the same species and the explanation why they suddenly grew hair is just... a lame excuse, at best). For the same reason the strange Klingon ships were said to be replaced by this new D7 design and so finally we got something that actually felt like a Klingon ship. Although it rather looks like the later K't'inga than a D7 and it is scaled up massively. The original D7 from TOS is 228m long and this behemoth is a staggering 503.53m long. 2.2 times the length and 10 times the volume of the classic D7!!! Still, this new ship is one of the smallest in the Klingon Discovery fleet. If you want to use this ship along with regular D7 and K't'ingas from the (real) "Prime-Timeline" i suggest using it at about half the size. When compared with a K't'inga, the Head and the main hull are at about the same size at a length of 250m (give or take). For that i also give an alternate scale for a size around that.
