Product Description
The Seltorians are an insectoid species genetically engineered by the Tholians to be their primary servants in the Tholian Home Galaxy (M81). The Seltorians operated warships to maintain the Tholian Will. After the Revolt, the Seltorians pursued the fleeing Tholians to the Milky Way Galaxy and (with Klingon help) set up a base to continue their prosecution of Tholian War Criminals. Their heavy cruiser was the workhorse of their fleet.

Facing increasingly heavy combat in the Milky Way Galaxy with only the ships they had brought (or could build), the Seltorians were at an increasing disadvantage due to the lack of heavy command units. Their solution was to mount a third standard boom into the central socket of a standard cruiser rear hull in addition to the two booms in the outer sockets. This design was suggested by Klingon engineers; the Seltorian engineers were reportedly astounded at the concept. Intelligence reports indicate that this had not previously been done due to the problems of balancing the warp fields of three engines in such close proximity, but that Klingon engineers (with more powerful computers) were able to provide the necessary balance studies. For our purposes, the resulting ship is classed as a Light Dreadnought, although it really does not fit into the design “mold” of the galactic DNLs that fought in the opening stages of the General War. The Seltorians listed the ships as simply “command ships.” Unlike other light dreadnoughts, this ship is not a “fast raider.” Known names include Pristine Torrent of Ice.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
