Warp Prototype 'Bonaventure' 1/350

This ship was depicted in the reference book "Star Trek Chronology", and should depict "Zefram Cochrane's first warp-powered spacecraft". It wasn't named there and only labelled as C1-21. This was then contradicted by the movie "First Contact", where we saw the "Phoenix", that was made from an old nuclear missile. So, this design was removed from later editions of the book, but a second copy of the model appeared in some DS9 episodes, representing an early warp vessel named "Bonaventure". Well, so this could not be Cochrane's first warp vessel, but maybe a second prototype, meant for a longer trip. The "Phoenix" was just build for a "quick trip around the block". It could also be the testbed for the later S.S. Valiant, earth's first deep space explorer. In fact, the warp nacelles from the original model of the Bonaventure were used to make the model for the S.S. Valiant. That's why the first model is now missing those and this is, how the model was used a last time in an episode of Voyager to represent a model of an early Malon vessel in the Delta Quadrant.

I build this model mostly according to the somewhat inaccurate depiction on ex-astris-scientia.org and some reference pictures of the real model, plus some artistic licence. For the length, i  simply made it 30m. At this size, the fuselage does have a similar diameter as the "Phoenix". The warp nacelles are also about the same size then, and the cockpit would be large enough to support a small crew of 3-5 people for some time. But it could be easily any other size too.
