POTP Volcanicus Stego Armor - PE Compatible!

This is an alternative take on my POTP Volcanicus chest upgrade.  Keep in mind that this upgrade is specifically compatible with the Perfect Effects configuration for Volcanicus.  This part does not include any additional support for Volcanicus's arms.  So, unless you have the Perfect Effects upgrade kit, this upgrade will not help to stabilize Grimlock's arms in torso mode.  Note that the photo of the gray prototype shown was produced using a home 3D printer; the Shapeways product will feature a finer surface finish.

This upgrade plugs right into the front of Grimlock when in torso mode.  It features styling and details reminiscent of Snarl's stegosaurus tail.  AND, you can place Prime Masters or Titan Masters into the ports on the front of the armor.  There are two Prime Master/Titan Master port covers included in this unit.  The covers are temporarily attached to the rear of the unit via two plastic runners that must be removed using a knife or side cutters.  The covers are then pinned into place using a 1 mm diameter metal pin that must be supplied by the end user.  Pin holes are provided on the cover parts as well as on the tail sections.  Once the covers are pinned into place, you can hinge them open and closed to cover or reveal the Master hiding inside!
