This is a crate for the WWII U.S. M2A1 field howitzer, long roung (late war) ammunition.  The wood crate holds two rounds.  The crates were natural white wood with stenceling depicting the rounds.  Painting is recommended.
 
This 3D product contains four crates on very short sprues.  The bottom is hollw to reduce cost of matrial.  It can be filled with epoxy (or other material) if you need to show the bottom.  Small holes are provided on the ends for adding your own "rope" handles.

Note: Some sellers say the M101A1 was a WWII gun.  It did not come out until the 1960's so their crate is not correct for WWII.  Don't get the wrong "crate" for your WWII models.
