When John Eaves made the first design sketches for the Xindi Insectoid Ship, he based the look of the warp nacelles on the legs of a lobster he just saw before. This model is based on that first sketch with the long "crab-legs" but with the two-part center section of the later official Insectoid ship. The original design had three center sections. It seems as if the ship is about 1.5 times the length of the Enterprise which is also on the design sketch for scale reference. I picked 350m, this way the center section is almost exactly the same size as on the final ship.
