The USS Salcombe NCC-2107 can be seen at the end of "Star Trek: Beyond", in the background of the time-laps montage when the Enterprise-A is built. I quite like this design, much more than any of the other ships from the Kelvin Timeline. Maybe, except for the USS Franklin. In my opinion, the side view has a strong WWII fighter plane vibe, most obviously the "Curtiss P-40 Warhawk". The top view however reminds me a lot of the depiction of the Marklin Class on the cover of "The Four Years War" book by FASA and personally, i like the idea of this being the Marklin Class of the Kelvin Timeline.

As much as i like this design, pinning down its size is... difficult. Having the main reference, the Constitution Class from the same movies, designed at 366m and then upscaled to 725m doesn't make this easier. At first, i looked at the windows. There are two rows in the saucer edge, just like on the Constitution. Using an average deck height of 3-3.5m, like on other Federation vessels, makes this ship approx. 500m long, compared to the 366m Constitution. 1000m, if we use the official (ridiculous) 725m figure for the latter. I think we can agree, 1000m is way too big, but 500m also seems to be too large as it then would almost dwarf the Enterprise. At this size things like the bridge module, the torpedo tubes, the phaser emitters, the lower sensor dome and the shuttlebay doors are looking way too oversized (almost cartoonish), compared to the same things on the Enterprise. The docking ports on the sides for example are over 4m in diameters (almost two decks high). Since "The Motion Picture" these need to be about 2m in diameter to fit to the corresponding vessels, like Inspection Pods or the Vulcan Long Range Shuttle. The docking ports on the NX Class also follows this size, as also the ones on the Kelvin Constitution at 366m. Finally, the ship seen in the movie just doesn't look that big compared to the Enterprise-A in the foreground, except if we take 725m for the Enterprise, but then both ships would have very different deck heights.

On the other hand, if we disregard the windows and make the ship half as long, at about 250m, the Bridge, the lower sensor dome, the torpedo tubes, and the phaser "balls" are almost the same size as on a TMP Constitution. The docking ports are at an almost perfect 2m diameter, while the shuttlebay door is still large enough for a shuttle to get through with a lot of space around it (it's almost enough to let through two shuttles side-by-side). This size looks a lot more like the ship behind the Enterprise-A in the scene onboard the Yorktown starbase and makes a lot more sense for a ship that's only purpose is to protect the starbase it is assigned to and not to explore unknown space. Therefore, i go with this figure, but will list the other as an alternate scale, like with the Kelvin Timeline Constitutions. Just in case...
