The UBIII was the final and most numerous series of the German UB Class Coastal Torpedo Attack Boats of World War One. 96 boats were commissioned from 1916 onwards, including 7 completed after the Armistice. Four shipyards produced them and there were several variants but the overall specifications were all very similar...

Armourment : 4 x forward 50cm torpedo tubes; 1 x rear 50cm torpedo tube; 10 torpedos carried; 1 x 88mm deck gun1, 60 rounds carried
Crew : 34 men.

SCALE: This waterline model is in 1/350th scale. 1/700th and 1/600th versions are available elsewhere in this shop.
Note that you have a choice of three materials: Versatile Plastic and MJF (both nylon) , are tough and great for wargaming pieces ; for static display models with improved details choose Tan Fine Detail plastic.
