Teensyboy Pro Case (Version 1.0)

A Gameboy style case for the Teensyboy Pro by Catskull Electronics. It comes in two parts - top and bottom shell - to be assembled via four peg/hole joints which fit with friction and require no screws.

The buttons for mode cycle and boot loading are modeled into the top shell and have posts that extend down into the case to the circuit board for activation. The boot loader button is recessed to prevent accidental pressing while the mode button sticks up a bit to make it easier to press.

Additionally, on this version, there are 'windows' on the sides to allow the LED's on the board to be seen and monitored. It's not as clean a look as Version 2.0 but it also doesn't require the extra parts printed in fine detail plastic and therefore costs less overall. A rectangle  above the mode lights has been recessed into the side to allow placement of a sticker to indicate which light is which. You can download a PDF including variations of that sticker here.

The bottom shell has four extruded rings on the corners for rubber pads to be inserted (3.5mm diameter). These are the ones I designed them for.

All other function/port labels have been molded into the surface as well, indicating the IN/OUT MIDI ports on the back, BOOT loader and MODE buttons on top, and USB and EXT. ports on front. The "Teensyboy Pro" text has also been embossed.

This design is based on the classic DMC Gameboy to fit in nicely with your setup!
