3788 Scale Hydran Overmind Battle Control Ship CVN

The Hydrans are an unusual species that live on the far side of the Klingon Empire, along the edge of the galaxy. They are enemies of the Klingons and Lyrans, and were conquered by those empires at one point, only to drive the invaders out decades later. Hydrans breathe methane and live on cold type-S gas giants on silicate continents floating on liquid methane oceans.

The Hydrans completed an Overlord Heavy Battlecruiser as an Overmind Battle Control Ship two years before the end of the General War and found the design so successful that all future heavy battlecruiser hulls were completed to this pattern, and at least one existing heavy battlecruiser was converted. The design featured a full flotilla of six gunboats along with what any empire but the Hydrans would have considered a full-strength fighter squadron (12 fighters). The fighter squadron is ten Stinger-2s and two Stinger-Hs.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
