N gauge pleasure steamer

A simple waterline 1:148 model of a small steam screw pleasure steamer suitable for N gauge, N6.5 or Nn3 harbours. Such small steamers typically sailed on lakes and lochs, but might also have ventured offshore for pleasure trips. Having failed to find anything quite like this  on Shapewaysfor my N6.5 layout, where ship models tend to be larger vessels to smaller scales or smaller boats to larger scales, I have prototyped the design in PLA on a home printer, but offer it here in Versatile Plastic as Fine Detail Plastic does not currently seem cost-effective. Simple added detail such as lifebuoys and a helm wheel improve the look of the model - a mast and rigging could also be added. Bench / flotation aids fore and aft are suitable for N gauge seated figures. The photograph of the printed and painted model reflects the layering of a home machine on the 'standard' setting, not what can be expected from the Shapeways prduct.
