Product Description
The heavy version of the Oriskany class of mass-produced light cruiser, the Northhampton class added an enlarged secondary hull, and a frigate FTL nacelle for increased power and range. Like the Oriskany class, the Northhamptons were derided at the start of the war, but earned the grudging respect of those they fought for. After the war, the few surviving ships were refit to more typical Confederation design specs, increasing the science and comfort levels of the ship.
