2x N Gauge Breakdown Cranes

This model was designed as a replacement crane for the Oxford Diecast N Gauge (1/148) AEC Matador Breakdown Truck. It is based on the Harvey Frost 5 Ton Crane which was fitted to many of these surplus artillery tractors following World War II.

NOTES

• The crane assembly supplied in the original N Gauge Oxford Diecast model is glued to the flat bed of the truck. It can be removed by carefully inserting a thin blade under the round base of the crane and twisting gently until it pops free. This replacement crane fits the holes in the truck rear deck.
• The hook assembly supplied in the original N Gauge Oxford Diecast model can be fitted to this crane. Alternatively, a matching pair  of hooks is printed within the crane body for the left and right hoists. (Release these from the framework by pushing them gently towards the crane base.)
• This model is offered in Smoothest Fine Detail Plastic in order to represent small details. This material is fragile and so the crane prints should be handled with great care.
