Product Description
This product is available in two sprue sizes, which can be selected from the menu to the right. The "small" size includes 8 small brick train wheels; the "large" size includes 16 small brick train wheels. A small hobby blade will be required to separate parts from their sprues and to clean up the edges.

At KKMC, we tend to take ourselves pretty seriously. We describe ourselves using words like "exacting" and "neurotic" a lot. But we still love playing with toy trains-- and we're big fans of the brick-built variety!
For as long as we've been toying with Lego train models, we've wished that there was a way to add spoked wheels to the official wheel holder brick components. At last, we decided to branch out into this world ourselves to offer a brand-new brick wheel design that finally allows builders to model the ornate wagons and carriages of a century or more ago. So far, we adore the results!
Don't worry-- we're still busy with future finescale projects! But we hope that modelers and builders alike have as much fun with our entry into the world of brick products as we've had with it so far.
A FEW NOTES
These are NOT official Lego parts! Nor is their quality on par with official Lego quality standards. Lego parts are cast in smooth, colored ABS plastic-- our parts are 3D-printed in a rougher white material and dyed at the factory. The colors are not exact matches for Lego parts, but very close. See the photos above!
Our wheels are designed to fit the Lego-made 9V/RC Train Wheel Holder (produced between 1991 and 2018) and the Lego-made RC Metal Train Axle (40mm long; produced between 2006 and 2018) or equivalent parts made by other brands. Our wheels won't fit the new Lego Train Wheel Holders made since 2018.
Our wheels are delivered on a long sprue. They aren't difficult to cut free, but a modeling blade will be required, and care must be used. This part of the process should not be attempted by kids.
Once the wheels are removed, save the central sprue! In the middle is a wheel/track gauge. Use it when mounting the wheels to the metal axle-- and to check other wheelsets in your collection!
Sometimes, a layer of plastic dust may build up in the axle-mounting hole on the back of each wheel. Use a small metal pick, like a paper clip, to clean this material out if you find the wheels difficult to mount.
BUT HOW DO THEY ROLL?
Not as great as official 9V-era wheels-- but we haven't compared them to official post-2018 wheels, which we know don't roll wonderfully, either. We suggest using KKMC wheels sparingly, on models where they'll really pop. We've had no trouble running 9V trains of two or three 4-wheel carriages equipped with KKMC wheels-- over curves, switches, and all!
