Product Description
This was an auxiliary cruiser with three pods and represents an intermediate ship between a large auxiliary cruiser (two pods) and the heavy auxiliary cruiser (four pods). Like the heavy auxiliary cruiser it was a relatively rare design due to the expense of construction and the lack of  suitable missions, but as the General War dragged on, convoy defenses were improved by adding these heavier ships. Only well-established and wealthy planets could afford to operate them, so most were used by the national governments. These used the same purpose-built "pods" and military warp drive units as the earlier large auxiliary cruiser, and a new "front end" with heavy weapons. The third pod included additional power, sustainment, and defense systems. Jumbo auxiliary cruisers use the standard weapons of the owning empire.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
