Product Description
QR curved roof vents for scratchbuilders. The design for this is for rounded roof ridge lines or pitched roof. For fitting to a pitched ridge line use a triangular file to get the right angle for your particular pitch of roof. These vents were found on a wide variety of buildings, see the examples from plans in the above images. The limitations of 3D printing don't allow for the spire on top of the vent to be printed. There is a drilling guide on the top centre of the vent where a hole can be drilled to fit a dressmakers pin in the top to make the spire and complete the vent. I have provided a photo of the first ones I did as an example, I have since modified my drawing. I recommend the Frosted extreme Detail from the. I have offered it in a wide variety of materials in S scale including brass and bronze.
