Scammell Scarab 3ton version
Scammell introduced the Mechanical Horse in 1933. It was originally very basic, with no side doors. Two versions were produced, a 3Ton and a 6 Ton. doors were later added as standard, and the windscreen altered from flat to slanted .
in 1948a new design was produced, the Scarab. This had a number of improvements, and was also produced a 3 ton and 6 ton version.
This is the 3 ton version.
