Product Description
LNER Observation Coach
The train was formed of four two-car articulated units, with the 'beaver-tail' observation car added in summer.
In 1948 they were returned to service as general passenger stock, but they never ran as a full set again - the observation cars were transferred to the West Highland line in 1956.
In BR days the steamlined skirting was removed. They were again modified in 1959 with larger end windows.
Early BR condition
Requires chassis, bogies, wheels etc and finishing off
