A renewal of my Wsr.t staff amulet after the previous version turned out to have a couple details too fine to print in some materials.
Although little known in modern times, the ancient Egyptian jackal-headed staff known as a wsr.t is a particularly potent symbol. It symbolizes power and being powerful, with additional connotations relating to wealth, influence, and longevity. It is also known as the throat/voice of Re. In some of the netherworld/Amduat texts it appears as the ‘stake of Geb’, a pole to which the enemies of the sun god are bound and punished for their crimes. It’s some pretty hefty stuff!
