HO 16 Shrouded Double 48" Flourescent Lights

These 48-inch long shrouded double tube flourescent lights have been designed so that an 0603 Surface Mount Cool White LED can be fitted into the centre of the light base if required.

If an LED is fitted then the light shroud (cover/shade) will need to be painted black first and then painted as per the usual prototype colour (often a galvanised steel grey) with the tubes and inside of the shroud remaining as printed.

An elongated approximately 1mm hole is to be found at the mounting end of the cover as these lights were often mounted on a pipe from a steel or timber light pole. The elongated hole also allows the LED wires to exit the light and be glued on the underside of the mounting pipe.
