Signal 23 Ft Lower Quadrant - Fine Detail HO

This is a NSWGR 23 foot high signal printed in Smooth Fine Detail Plastic (previously called Frosted Ultra Detail - FUD) that shows fine detail such as bolt heads, thinner components, etc. A set of detail parts containing a 36 inch signal arm and other details such as finial (Finial - officially known by NSWGR as a Pinnacle), lamp top, lamp 'backlight blind', cast ladder base and counterweight lever is included with this signal. A spare part for the counterweight lever is also included.

To complete this signal a mechanism needs to be purchased and glued underneath the signal. A suitable Signals Branch shop mechanism is the Signal Mech Short Single HO; which can be found in the LQ Signal Detail Parts section of the shop.

A ladder is needed for this signal and a sprue of two 21 foot ladders printed in Smooth Fine Detail Plastic (previously called Frosted Ultra Detail - FUD) acrylic material is available from the Q Signal Detail Parts section of this Signals Branch Shapeways Shop. Also required are some 0.015 inch phosphor bronze wire for operating rods, handrails and several small screws.
