You get eight (8) rounds of "HE 105mm" connected with small sprues.  You need to remove the rounds from the sprues and fill the baottom end of the rounds with a filler (epoxy, Tamiya puty, etc.)  The rounds are hollw to reduce the manufacturing cost (material usage) thus saving you money.
Use the recommended post processing for Versitle Plastic before painting.  This means thoroughly washing the parts in a soapy solution (mixture of Simple Green and water) then rinse, dry, and UV treatment.  Placing the parts out in the sun for several hours works well.
