Product Description
This kit is in 1/700 scale. It includes 12x BTR-80A / BTR-80M Armored Transports. They are connected as a single sprue by a wire at the rear of the individual vehicles. Once the wire is cut the vehicles do not require and finishing.
According to Wikipedia: "The BTR-80 is an 8x8 wheeled amphibious armoured personnel carrier (APC) designed in the USSR. Adopted in 1986 and replaced the previous versions, BTR-60 and BTR-70 in the Soviet Army. (Russian: BTR stands for bronyetransportyor, literally meaning "armoured transporter")"
