3788 Scale Hydran Destroyers (2, Mixed) CVN

The Hydrans are an unusual species that live on the far side of the Klingon Empire, along the edge of the galaxy. They are enemies of the Klingons and Lyrans, and were conquered by those empires at one point, only to drive the invaders out decades later. Hydrans breathe methane and live on cold type-S gas giants on silicate continents floating on liquid methane oceans.

The Lancer is the standard destroyer of the Hydran Royal Navy. It is used to screen the flank, protect supply lines, and guard larger ships in fleet battles. The Lancer carries short-range fusion beams, Gatling phasers and four Stinger fighters.

The Hydran Knight is a destroyer, this one armed with long-range hellbores instead of short-ranged fusion beams of its half-brother, the Lancer. The hellbore versions carried fewer fighters (in this case none at all) because of the space needed for extra APRs to power the hellbores. This sprue of ships includes one Hydran Lancer Destroyer and one Hydran Knight Destroyer.

The sprue of ships is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
