3788 Scale Hydran Inspector and Police Carrier CVN

The Hydrans are an unusual species that live on the far side of the Klingon Empire, along the edge of the galaxy. They are enemies of the Klingons and Lyrans and were conquered by those empires at one point, only to drive the invaders out decades later. Hydrans breathe methane and live on cold type-S gas giants on silicate continents floating on liquid methane oceans.

This sprue contains one Hydran Inspector Flagship and one Police Carrier.

Built in the same shipyards as the Gendarme, the Inspector provided the needed support facilities for police operations (repair, rescue, minesweeping, special sensors, police detectives, swat team, crime scene units, etc.). It often carries a Stinger fighter, sometimes two. Known names include Inspector Hexlix, Inspector Haydran, Inspector Toscraw, Inspector Jaschaff, Inspector Geoduff, and Inspector Zacado.

The Hydran police forces operated a handful of these police carriers, a variant of the standard Gendarme police ship operating ten fighters. The ship had two bays, the hull being too narrow to construct a wider bay on one deck. Ships of this class never operated hellbore-armed fighters. Known names include Deputy Harrak, Deputy Hurrel, and Deputy Hantke.

This sprue of ships is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
