3788 Scale Federation Light Cruiser WEM

The Texas class of light cruisers (also known in later years as the old light cruisers) was built decades before the Kearsarge and the more modern light cruisers of that class. When Star Fleet modernized its technology, it reduced part of the cost by converting the old light cruisers to modern weapons and engines alongside the new construction of the Constitution and Enterprise. The Texas class was known for their rugged hulls which were over-engineered to start with. These old ships with modern technology soldiered on through the end of the General War.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
