3788 Scale Romulan ChickenHawk Gunboat/PF Tender

This was a conversion of the WarHawk light carrier used as a gunboat tender. The ChickenHawk Gunboat/PF Tender carried only three gunboats (fast patrol ships) and often operated in pairs (dividing a complete flotilla between them). The ChickenHawk Gunboat/PF Tender had only defensive weapons and would be outmatched by any medium-sized warship. The lack of special sensors limited most of the tenders to mobile defensive patrols. The ships use was limited, but it supplemented the newer ships in less critical regions. Known names included Talon, Claw, Legion, and Cohort.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. (Smooth Fine Detail Plastic makes an excellent cloaked ship!) Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
