The Magee Class first appeared in "Star Trek: Discovery" but it was also used in a scene in one of the "Star Trek: Shorts", showing the destruction of the Utopia Planitia Shipyards on Mars, leading to the events in "Star Trek: Picard". This lazy re-use of the CG-model creates an anachronism, because it is questionable why Starfleet would upgrade or even newly build a 130 years old design. Even the everlasting Miranda and Excelsior Class where only used for about 90 years and this most probably only because many of those ships where demothballed after the disastrous battle of Wolf359 and because they were needed for the Dominion War. At least, the design itself fits much more into the 24th century than into the 23rd in the first place.
