The model consists of a 1/35 Scale 800 gallon galvanised corrugated iron water tank used by the NSWGR for water supply from station and other railway building roofs.
The water tank can also be used on other period buildings as it would have been a standard water tank available at the time.
The profile of the corrugations has been taken from the 1963 Lysaght Referee 22nd Edition book.
