1:32 Fowler Portable Turntable 16.5mm Gauge

This model represents a 3'6" diameter 20" gauge version of the standard J. Fowler & Co. Portable Railway Track circa the late 1890's. The actual gauge of the model is 16.5mm (HO/OO Gauge). The model has the manufacturer's cast information visible and functional (if slightly delicate) T-handle position locks. The cast rail is designed to mate with Micro Engineering Code 70 rail. The top has a hole through the middle which is designed to be drilled to size and tapped for a 00-90 or similarly small metric screw, mounted from below to form an axle and retain the top. *PLEASE NOTE* This model is not intended to be functional although with some work and creativity it might be possible to make a version functional with battery-operated equipment.
