De Dion Bouton automotrice/railcar type KG3
One of a batch of railcars produced for a number of French narrow gauge railways in late 1920. They were single ended and had an integral turntable mechanism which could be lowered and used to turn the railcar.
This version was one of 4 supplied to the 1050mm gauge Hedjaz railway in Syria. They were slightly wider than the KG version and had wooden sides.
One was still running in 2007, but current situation not known.Based on drawings by Vincent Lepais. Modifications including roof mounted radiator were added at some time.
Trailer coaches were supplied at same time
Requires chassis and finishing
