 FAR Mechanical Horse CM62

The French company FAR produced a licensed version of the Scammell Mechanical Horse from about 1938. After the war the developed a new version, the equivalent of the Scarab produced by Scammell. This was the CM62. It was a 6 ton tractor unit.
FAR continued to develop their version of the mechanical horse, including 3ton and a light weight 1 ton tractor. Production of FAR tractor units continued into the 1970s, a few years after Scammell stopped their own versions.
