3125 Scale Romulan X-Ship SparrowHawk-AX MGL

As with other empires, the Romulans diverted some of their X-technology resources into light cruiser production, building new ships on a reinforced war cruiser design. The SparrowHawk-AX Light Cruiser design used type-A modules, which were hard welded; the ship was not modular. The ship was commonly called the SparrowAxe class. While externally similar to the SparrowHawk-A war cruiser, the ship was built with better materials and designed to last decades, costing nearly twice as much as a standard SparrowHawk-A including the cost of the X-technology systems. Known names included Red Hawk, Decisive, and Whirlwind.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. (Smooth Fine Detail Plastic makes an excellent cloaked ship!) Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
