What if the modifications made to the Enterprise in the TNG series finale, "All Good Things..." (AGT) were also applied to the Ambassador Class...
I used the Yamaguchi variant for this, as i think, the lower warp pylons look better with the third nacelle added. I know a lot of fanboys will call a ship with three warp nacelles a Dreadnought... (As if my car suddenly became a tank if i would add a third set of wheels...). Personally, i believe the third nacelle on these is not for propulsion but to power up the huge weapon under the saucer. Maybe this weapon needs a huge load of warp plasma, charged up in a modified nacelle, that can't be used for propulsion in this configuration, or in order to penetrate Borg shields, the third nacelle is needed to create a unique shaped warp bubble, or think of any other technobabble. Anything is better as the violation of the rule that warp nacelles (for propulsion) must come in pairs.
The size is the same as for the other Ambassador variants, for which are two somewhat official size figures out there. 526m and 478.5m, you can read about this at memory-alpha. Eaglemoss seems to try to offer a compromise, stating 520m in the magazine that comes with the miniature. Personally i like the 526m figure, as it is more close to the 524.256m of Andrew Probert's original design, and it fits perfectly to the relative sizes of the parts taken from the Ambassador and Galaxy Class to create the Niagara Class.
