Product Description
Under the Treaty of Smarba the Klingons provided warp technology to the Romulans, who quickly began converting their sublight Warbird cruisers into warp-powered War Eagles. Pushing the design to the limit, the Romulans built new King Eagles (and converted some War Eagles) to serve as command cruisers for squadrons of Eagle cruisers. These ships had more powerful warp engines and added two plasma-F torpedoes (one on the tip of each engine) and other systems and were better protected. After a few years, the design proved so effective that more War Eagles were converted to King Eagles and most new construction was of the King Eagle class. The ships were regarded simply as heavy cruisers rather than as command ships. There were entire squadrons consisting of three or four King Eagles. The ship has a cloak, can land on planets, and carries a nuclear space mine.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Smooth Fine Detail Plastic makes an excellent cloaked ship!)  Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
