IJN CA Ibuki [1944]

Warship No.300/301 "Ibuki/Kurama" (1944)
- heavy cruisers as designed, essentially repeat-Mogami class cruisers; modified CA Suzuya model, main difference is the placement of the mainmast further aft/just forward the #4 turret
- hull converted to a light aircraft carrier late-1943 but was never completed
- sister-ship, #301, was tentatively named "Kurama"
