Elder Sign tokens for Cthulhu Wars boardgame (or anything else you fancy).
36 pcs (or 30 pcs) attached to a sprue :
- 18 (or 15) "I" tokens
- 12 (or 10) "II" tokens
- 6 (or 5) "III" tokens
They're modelled as fragments of clay tablets, with small Vinca symbols engraved (the oldest known proto-writing).
One side shows an elder sign (Lovecraft's "branch" version), the other shows numbers (I, II, III).
Each token is a 24mm hex (across flats), 3mm thick (0.94" A/F ; 0.12" thk), same as the original cardboard tokens.
Two set sizes :
- Medium : 36 pcs sprue. - Small : 30 pcs sprue. Select the set size in the top-right menu.
The "Medium" 36-pcs set has the exact same number of tokens as in the Cthulhu Wars basegame. However, you almost never use more than 30 during play. The "Small" 30-pcs set is a bit cheaper.
The model comes unpainted, it has a single colour.
If you want to paint it, the process is almost identical to any regular plastic miniature. Some recommendations:
- With White Plastic : Wash the model, to remove any remaining nylon powder. Use soapy water, rub with toothbrush, rinse, let dry. Spray prime (you can apply more primer coats than usual, though), paint, spray varnish.
- When you cut the sprue on a coloured model (that is, all except white and grey), a small white dot will appear where you've cutted. Depending on the dye's colour, this white dot can be visible, or not. It can be easily corrected by using a permanent pen on the dots.
