3788 Scale Klingon D5B War Cruiser WEM

The Klingon Deep Space Fleet commissioned a special study to determine if the D7 battlecruiser class could be made more efficient by the introduction of new technology, such as anti-drones. Of the various proposals, the one from the Kozenko Design Bureau (known by their designation KDB-1104) was the most interesting and the most radical.

Typical of war cruisers, the D5B had 90% of the firepower of a D7 for 62% of the cost. War cruisers were, across the Alpha Octant, light cruisers with the armament of heavy cruisers, something possible only because no one expected them to survive in combat for their nominal 10-year service life to expire. These became the most-produced cruisers of the General War.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
