Product Description
1:160 - 4x4 Chevrolet G506 U.S. ARMY CARGO TRUCK

Overview
This is a scalemodel of the Chevrolet G506 series, G7107  4x4 cargo truck for 1:160 (N) WW2 dioramas/Railroads.  The G506 was a 1-1/2 ton 4x4 U.S. Army cargo truck, used in WW2 and after.  Many variants went into production.

Features
The model is designed to be printed in 2 parts;
- The main chassis with one figure (driver) included.
- The driver cabine, paint the inside first then glue to the chassis.
- Model is based on blueprints to maximize accuracy.
- Designed and optimized for shapeways  'fine detail plastic'.
- Version WITHOUT canvas or winch!   -
G7107
- Wheels cannot rotate.

Gluing
Use superglue, NOT modeling glue like Tamiya/Revell!
The 3D print is a resin material.

Painting
Before painting, always degrease your model in a glass of lukewarm water and a drop of dishwashing soap (do not use a dishwasher!).  Allow it to dry completely before painting.
Aplie a thin layer of paint, use 'drybrush' techniques to bring the detail alive.
If you don't have a lot of experience; watch multiple 'tutorials' on youtube about painting model vehicles.

Glass windows
If you like to add transparent windows, you could use some transparent plastic film, or a liquid product like Micro Kristal Klear.  You can also try to use transparant wood glue (PVA), smear it around the window-hole and let it dry one day.  It will get clear once hardened.  Whatever method you use; Always test it on some scrap plastic before you apply it to your model!

Thanks for stopping by & have fun!
