3788 Scale Hydran Caravan Battle Tug CVN

The Hydrans are an unusual species that live on the far side of the Klingon Empire, along the edge of the galaxy. They are enemies of the Klingons and Lyrans, and were conquered by those empires at one point, only to drive the invaders out decades later. Hydrans breathe methane and live on cold type-S gas giants on silicate continents floating on liquid methane oceans.

As with other empires, the Hydrans had the capability to convert a tug into a warship close to a dreadnought in firepower by adding a cargo pod converted to carry weapons not supplies. This was less efficient for the Hydrans as their tug had internal cargo (useless for the combat mission) and the small fleet never had enough tugs. Regardless of how rarely this happened, the Hydrans had tugs and had battle pods and could do this any time the situation required or forced them to do it.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
