Star Empire Buzzard Dreadnaught

After the short second war with the Confederation (which passed unnoticed by the Confederation), the Star Empire Central Command realized the necessity of new technology to continue as a viable combat force.  The first part of this effort was a treaty with their traditional rivals, which gave the Star Empire access to IKS technology, and older ship hulls such as this one.

 

While the design turned out to be less important for its wartime contributions, than as a sign post of future Star Empire ship design, the Buzzard class dreadnaughts did pack a serious punch in combat.  With two heavy plasma launchers, heavy missile launching racks, many direct energy beams, and of course a cloaking device, the Buzzard was a serious combatant.

 One 1/3788 scale space ship. Model is roughly 44mm wide and 54mm long.

 Model has a 2mm hole for mounting on a flight base.
