7000 Scale Romulan Fleet Assault Ship + Collection

The Romulans used maulers (Peregrine+ New Mauler Cruisers, FlameHawk+ Maulers, and SparrowHawk-F+ Mauler Cruisers) as special weapons platforms in base assaults, planetary assaults, or in special fleet battle situations. Heavily armed cruisers such as the SparrowHawk-J+ were assigned when available to provide battle group commanders a special attack unit. A theater commander would have a limited number of these special weapons ships and would then assign them to battle groups for special missions. Refitted versions were produced during the late war period in the shipyards of a different Great House than the original, accounting for the visual difference. The Assault Refit Collection contains a Peregrine+ New Mauler Cruiser, a FlameHawk+ Mauler, two SparrowHawk-F+ Mauler Cruisers, and two SparrowHawk-J+ Assault Cruisers.

This sprue of unpainted ships is designed to fit on a typical 5/8-inch hex map or to allow more room on a larger hex map. (If used for A Call to Arms: Star Fleet, simply change the measurements from inches to centimeters.)
