This model provides the pieces for nominally operational double-hung single pane windows with plain decoration. Each window pane is approximately 22" x 22" (a standard size of the late 1800's and early 1900's). They are designed to have a standard 18mmx18mm glass microscope cover slip inserted into the side of each pane. The panes slip into the top of the frame into their individual runner slots and they have an overlapping chamfer to prevent reversal of the panes. A small piece of styrene plastic should be used to close off the top of the pane insertion slot.
Six windows and panes are provided as part of this model.
This model is suitable for use in other scales and can be reasonably used to represent windows in 1:24 Scale with 16" x 16" panes.
