Product Description
This model is a close representation of the Comox Logging & Railway "Cliffe-Pattern" log bunk developed to meet Department of Railway regulations in the 1950's. The first such pattern bunks were modified from Seattle Car & Foundry "Hercules" Pattern bunks which had equipped the railway from the start of operations. The bunks were mounted on a large wooden timber which lifted the bunks above the flatcar deck so that the log unloaders would not damage the cars.
