Product Description
Cavan and Leitrim 7L coach with Bus body
In an attempt to increase passenger numbers one old 40ft C&L coach was rebuilt with a new body using two bus bodies.
After railway closed the coach ended up on the Bord na Mona railway. The body was eventually scrapped and the chassis transferred to a preservation society.
The original conversion was similar to that done on the West Clare Railway when 3 short(27ft) trailer coaches were created for running with the new railcars. One of these trailers has now found its way to the Cavan and Leitrim preservation society line
Requires finishing off, wheels etc
