This is the Cardassian ATR-4107 self-guided tactical missile prototype from the Voyager episode "Dreadnought". Don't get this wrong, it is only nicknamed "Dreadnought" by B'Elanna, it is not "a" Dreadnought. Many people seem to get this wrong. It is an unmanned missile, carrying 1000kg of matter and 1000kg of antimatter. Enough to blow up a small moon. It is also well armed with conventional weapons to defend itself from attack on the way to its target. When the prototype was lost, the Cardassians most probably thought it was a failure and discontinued the project.
