Product Description
***NOTICE*** This is a fairly major update to my original model. Some details have been improved as much as I am able. Also added in some new details. Like the PRC-77 Pack/ Vehicle radio. And now I'v included my M20 75mm Recoiless Rifle.
The M20 75mm Recoiless Rifle was first introduced in early 1945. And was in use with the military thru the Vietnam War. I decided to add this to my M-274-A5 Mechanical Mule. A friend told me that few of the M20's were ever used with the M-274, but a few troops got inventive with weapons for the M-274. That is where the idea for this model came from.
This was the last design of this uniquely different yet very important squad field combat vehicle. Produced by the Brunswick Corp from 1968 thru 1970. Less than 900 were ever made of this model. But these survived well into the mid 1980s at Air Force bases as flight line vehicles
I'v really tried to get the engine absolute spot on. Also I finally got the stock wheels right. Harder than they look. On the back of the seat is the PRC-77 pack/ vehicle field radio.
This is 1/87 scale. I have put my heart into making these unique vehicles. I hope that my efforts show. You don't even have to drill out the wheels for the pegs.
