3125 Scale Romulan X-Ship BattleHawk-X Destroyers

This ship was constructed by the Romulans despite the theoretical obsolescence of the BattleHawk destroyer. That ship type remained in production. With so much of their empire in ruins, they needed every X-ship they could build, even if (theoretically) the Sky-Axe was a better ship. The BattleAxe was better than nothing because the Sky-Axe was already being built at maximum rate with X-technology systems left over. While small and cramped by comparison to other advanced technology destroyers, the twin plasma-S torpedoes and sufficient reserve power to fast load either of them made the ships more than most pirates and raiders wanted to tangle with. This ship is a “first generation X-ship.” This ship includes a cloaking device and carriers a nuclear space mine. Known names include Warwing and Deltawing. This sprue contains two BattleHawk-X Destroyers. The ship is also available singly.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. (Smooth Fine Detail Plastic makes an excellent cloaked ship!) Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
